As of release 5.0.0.44, the scheduler feature has been enhanced to include the following changes.
Job Tree Browse with Multi Select and Search
Prior to the above release, a user would need to create a separate schedule for each job. It is now possible to browse the entire collection of folders and jobs and select one or many items for the selected schedule frequency.
Jobs and folders and also be discovered using the seearch feature above the tree. Selection can be managed in bulk using the menu at the top right of the tree.
Scheduling of Folders
All jobs in a folder can be scheduled to run using the same schedule by simply selecting the parent folder.
Parameter Overrides
If any selected jobs contain job parameters, an alternate ‘override’ parameter can be used specificaly for the scheduled job.
In the following example, ‘May’ will be used for ‘Sales Month’ when the schedule is run regardless of the job configuration.
To edit the parameter overrides, simply click the ‘not specified…’ link. This will open a sidebar where a parameter override can be defined.
