August 2023 Official Release (5.0.0.56)

:rocket: Introducing the Power-Packed August Update for ReportWORQ! :rocket:

We’re bringing you a wave of innovative features and many quality improvements that will turbocharge your workflow and boost productivity.

The ReportWORQ Team went through a major cleanup of the many enhancement requests and quality items that we have received recently. You will notice that this release is focused on many minor ‘quality of life’ improvements that should provide a much improved experience across several features.

Highlights from this release

User can now run jobs directly from the job editor instead of having to navigate to the job monitor screen. This option can be found by right clicking any job or folder in the job editor and the clicking the ‘Run’ context menu item.

For screenshot variables on the job editor’s distribution screen, it is now possible to select the file format of the image type. For some distribution targets or email clients, screenshot images might appear differently when using a specific image file type. The file options include Jpeg (default), Bmp, Gif and Png. Image transparency can optionally also be enabled.

Note: Prior versions of ReportWORQ exclusively used the Png format. After upgrading to the August release, all jobs will switch to the Jpeg format. Jpeg images do not support transparency. If transparency is a requirement, the Png or Gif format is required.

Finally, a customer recently discovered an issue with ReportWORQ’s processing of the ‘Zero Indent’ argument of the Planning Analytics TM1RPTROW formula. Prior to this release, setting the ‘Zero Indent’ argument to ‘0’ would flatten the hierarchy. The correct behavior should default to the format defined in the Active Forms format range.
