New Audit Logging
The major new addition for this release is the introduction of Audit Logging. This new audit file contains structured data and is designed to be read by a log viewer application or to integrate into an enterprise tool such as Splunk. Terse Audit logging will be enabled by default upon upgrading and will retain 90 days worth of logs. The audit file can be found in the ReportWORQ Repository Directory.
Copying groups of worksheets with cross references
This new feature already has a dedicated forum article located here: New Feature - Support for copying groups of worksheets that reference each other. With this feature you can now use ReportWORQ parameters to make a copies of a group of worksheets that have formulas referencing each other. A good example of this is a data worksheet and a report worksheet, where the report worksheet summarizes and presents the data.
Data Collection
For our Data Collection customers, we now have support for providing different credentials for distribution and data collection. Upon upgrading, the current distribution credentials will be copied for the data collection configuration, then this can be modified by editing your datasource connection in the Integrations screen.
Spill Formulas
Do you use Spill formulas? In this release, we added support for the TM1ELLIST Spill formula. In order to support this we had to make some changes to how and when our calculation engine calculates and spills data. If you’re using Excel Spill formulas, such as FILTER, please take a moment to review reports with spill formulas to ensure that they run consistently from previous versions.
