June 2025 Release Summary – Version 5.0.0.83
Our latest release, deployed on May 28, 2025, features a range of enhancements and fixes aimed at enhancing performance and user experience. Notably, we’ve made improvements to AIFILTER, RWREMOVEFORMULA, and RWINPUT formulas and improved behavior for empty IBM Planning Analytics dynamic reports. Performance has been a focus this cycle, featuring faster repository report generation and a fix that reverses a previous regression linked to the Aspose library. We’ve also introduced the ability to configure IBM Planning Analytics cube polling frequency, providing users with more control over system behavior.
On the email front, administrators can now hide the “From” field in the distribution screen, disallowing users from overriding that field. In addition, Office365 users leveraging the Graph API integration now have the ability to override the “From” field. This new feature will require an update to the App Registration scopes in Azure to allow for this behavior. For Contribution users, export files can now be downloaded directly from the browser, and several UI improvements have been made to better support charts, sparklines, freeze panes, and grouped data in web views.
What’s new in the Administration > Authentication screen?
Last month, we introduced new Office 365 add-ins for PowerPoint users to refresh data in their presentations and for Excel users to report on over 250 data sources available through ReportWORQ. These features necessitated the implementation of new licensing options and permissions on the Authentication screen.
The updated user interface released last month represents the first set of changes in this area, with further improvements expected to roll out in July and August. Once this work is completed, it will be much easier to grant users capabilities, understand available licenses, and track which users are utilizing them.
For customers using Microsoft Entra or other OIDC integrations, it will also be simpler to utilize authentication provider roles (claims) for granting users access to ReportWORQ features. Additionally, managing self-registration of users and licenses will be streamlined through enhanced role support.

- Fixed an issue in rendering workbooks that contain charts and groups.
