Version 5.0.0.86 is Live

This update introduces better support for Microsoft 365 and IBM Planning Analytics, with improvements in validation and expanded API integration. Data Collection now features Graph API mailbox settings and more streamlined authentication handling.

On the distribution side, ReportWORQ now supports all SharePoint libraries (not just the default), and jobs triggered via the API now offer full debug/trace logging and support for blank override parameters. We’ve also introduced a new powerful parameter type that allows sourcing values directly from Planning Analytics cube intersections.

In Contribution, users can now download detailed logs for both data entry and objects, and we’ve improved how user entitlements are handled in assignments. PowerPoint users will be pleased to hear that report shape imports are working properly again.

Finally, reporting and data modeling have received a major redesign. The new experience enables you to connect to various data providers, transform and prepare your data using intuitive tools, and create pixel-perfect reports directly in Excel. All of this integrates smoothly with ReportWORQ’s distribution engine.

General

  • Added a validation test to the Microsoft 365 Administration page.

  • Basic Auth Settings for host and port were removed for the Data Collection Microsoft 365 provider.

  • Added support for the Graph API mailbox setting in Data Collection.

  • Added a new log variable to the IBM Planning Analytics REST API TI process.

  • Fixed an issue with removing the whitelist file from a Schedule.

  • Fixed an issue where user accounts were disabled on upgrade.

Distribution

  • Fixed an issue where only the default SharePoint library was available in ReportWORQ. Now, all SharePoint libraries are available as report providers and distribution destinations.

  • Fixed an issue where Job Test runs did not produce any output.

  • Added the ability to source a parameter from a data intersection. The new parameter type is Planning Analytics Cube Value.

  • Added support for API job requests, which include blank override “parameters” in the request.

  • Added support for debug/trace logging from API initiated jobs.

Contribution

  • Added the ability to download both the data entry log and the data object log.

  • Fixed an issue where all users are listed in the contribution assignments, not just those with the Contribution end-user entitlement.

PowerPoint Add-in

  • Fixed issue where shapes could not be imported from a Job’s report.

Reporting

  • The Reporting and data modeling features have been redesigned to add additional functionality and build a foundation for a variety of upcoming reporting modes.

  • Connect to a variety of data providers using the new data modeling experience.

  • Filter, rename, and structure your data to prepare it for end-user reporting using intuitive controls.

  • Use the Excel add-in to explore your modeled data and create a pixel-perfect report.

  • Full compatibility with ReportWORQ’s existing Distribution features.
