    Whitelist/Blacklist Instructions

Are there instructions on how to use the Whitelist/Blacklist functionality?

All i have found is ’Filter days allow for whitelisting/blacklisting specific days for scheduled jobs. Enter one date (mm/dd/yyyy) or date range (mm/dd/yyy-mm/dd/yyyy) per row. Example dates include: 01/01/2024, 01/02/2024-01/03/2024?

ReportWORQ jobs are still run on the frequency you want using the scheduler, but we’ve added a new feature to whitelist or blacklist certain days for scheduled jobs.

After creating a new scheduled job, by default there’s no blacklist/whitelist enabled. By clicking on ’not specified?? under ’Date Filters?, you can add those days to filter on.

First, select the specific mode desire; ’Whitelist? or ’Blacklist?. The whitelist/blacklist can then support a list of specific dates or date ranges.

By using the ’Blacklist?, you can exclude days from running on the schedule. E.g., you could set up the schedule to run a job every Tuesday, but if I add today to that blacklist (5/7/2024), the job won’t actually run today. It would continue to run on future Tuesdays, though (such as 5/14/2024).

The ’Whitelist? works by only running the job on those days. Using the same example as above, if a job was scheduled to run every Tuesday, and I added today to the whitelist (5/7/2024), the job would run today, and only today. It wouldn’t run next Tuesday, or any following Tuesday.
