    2026 Q2 Release (v5.0.0.91)

    Hi There!

The 2026 Q2 Release (v5.0.0.91) for Reportworq is here, and this one's a big one with new connectors, a rebuilt scheduler, a full cleanup of the Excel formula library, and a long list of reliability fixes.

    Release Highlights

    • New Connectors: Box and OneDrive are now available as both a report source and a distribution destination. We've also added a direct Salesforce connector, plus Power BI / Azure Analysis Services connectivity with modern OAuth authentication and support for SQL- or MDX-style queries.
    • Distribution & Admin Upgrades: Global Parameter Values let you define a value once and reuse it across jobs. Email distributor controls now let you restrict the From address and limit recipients to approved domains. You can also export Audit Log data straight to Excel, and set more granular concurrency controls separating server-wide job limits from per-job output limits.
    • Excel Formula Library Cleanup: Every formula now follows a consistent RW.Category.Action naming convention (legacy names are still fully supported), and the Excel add-in now surfaces every formula with argument hints and inline docs right in Excel's formula editor. Highlights include the new RW.Tools.AIInsight formula for generating AI-written insights directly in a cell or textbox, new worksheet control formulas (RW.Tools.SheetName, RW.Tools.SheetColor, RW.Tools.SheetSuppress), and Top/Bottom N support in RW.Tools.Sort.
    • Rebuilt Job Scheduler: The scheduler has been rewritten from the ground up for improved reliability, with new scheduler diagnostics and an option to auto-pin scheduler history entries.
    • File Handling: .xlsb workbooks can now be selected as source reports across all report providers.
    • Licensing: Non-production licenses are now available on request, with a UI badge and watermark on Excel, PDF, and PowerPoint output so it's always clear which environment generated a file.
    • Big Reliability Fixes: Large TM1 query results are now streamed instead of loaded all at once, preventing out-of-memory failures on big datasets. We also fixed a Contribution campaign crash tied to empty input-form folders, resolved a frozen-pane recalculation issue when switching between differently-sized sheets, and cleared up several TM1 Application Folder and certificate-related errors on startup.

Ready to upgrade? You can find the latest installer and patch on the Official Release page. If you're already running Reportworq, just head to your Administration screen to update directly!
