The 2026 Q1 Release (v5.0.0.90) for Reportworq is officially here, and it’s packed with some great quality-of-life improvements. Whether you’re handling massive datasets or managing complex contribution campaigns, this update makes the workflow much smoother.

Release Highlights

• Better File Handling: Added XLSB (Excel Binary) support, improved merged-cell rendering, and increased PDF reliability.
• Smarter Data & Integrations: SQL parameters can now reference other parameters (nesting), and we’ve added a REST API script for easier IBM Cloud connections.
• Enhanced Contribution Forms: Faster loading, improved memory usage, and new options to import/export Contribution Groups.
• Platform UI Update: We’ve optimized the interface to load icons faster and refreshed the Cloud Connector UI for better status tracking.
• Daylight Savings Fix: The scheduler now correctly handles those tricky date ranges that span time changes.

• Improved RWRESIZE support for merged cells within rows.
• Fixed RWSORT failing when overlapping Excel Groups / Outlines exist.
• Added XLSB file format support for Excel distribution.
• Fixed intermittent error when saving reports as PDF that caused some PDF generations to fail.
• Fixed out-of-memory error when saving log files for very large jobs.
